Asphalt Resurfacing & Overlay Process
Step One
Mill existing pavement surface
Step Two
Sweep existing pavement surface.
Step Three
Apply tack coat.
Step Four
Install 2” compacted thickness of Hot Mix Asphalt surface material in one lift.
Partial & Full Depth Repair
Patch and repair failed and damaged pavement on commercial, industrial, residential, county, and other surfaces to restore asphalt and prevent further distress. A partial depth repair fixes asphalt damage without milling down to the base, while a full-depth repair gets all the way down to the pavement base.
Partial & Full Depth Repair Process
Step One
Mill existing failed pavement to a minimum depth of 2” (partial depth), up to 8” (full depth).
Step Two
Blow area with compressed air.
Step Three
Apply tack coat
Step Four
Install new Hot Mix Asphalt material flush with surrounding pavement surface. Full depth repair shall be installed in multiple lifts.
Step Five
Rout and seal perimeter of repair area.

Crack Sealing and Repair (Large Crack Repair)
Step One
Mill existing crack to a minimum depth of 2” (partial depth) or up to full depth of existing pavement.
Step Two
Blow with compressed air.
Step Three
Apply tack coat.
Step Four
Install new Hot Mix Asphalt material and flush surrounding pavement surface. Full depth repair shall be installed in multiple lifts.
Step Five
Rout and seal perimeters of repair area.
