Protecting Our Greatest Investment

Though the Midwest Coatings equipment fleet is one of the largest-spanning in the industry, our most important investment lies in the safety and well-being of our employees.

  • On-the-Job Effort

Safety doesn’t happen by accident, it takes an effort of team intentionality to keep our employees protected. Every team member has both the right and responsibility to speak up at the sight of potentially unsafe or risky situations. Team leaders and crew members alike play an active role in keeping everyone on the job site out of harm’s way.

  • Certified in our Commitment

The Midwest Coatings team is made up of a number of employees who hold OSHA 10 certification, as well as certified traffic control technicians that are hired in-house. These licensed professionals keep our crew knowledgeable and aware of any safety regulations while on the job. Our commitment to safety also involves a commitment to the holding of weekly safety discussions, in which management works to promote awareness and encourage employees to make safe choices.

  • Employee Safety Incentives

Quarterly and weekly monetary awards are given to team members who have shown a dedication to safety. Quarterly company-wide rewards are given at the start of each quarter, with increases equal to every quarter that has gone by accident-free. Weekly monetary awards are given on the basis of hard work and safe behavior to two employees of whom are named during the weekly safety meeting.
